Violence and Criminal Behavior

We remove content that could lead to real-world harm, including (but not limited to) physical, financial, and emotional injury. We do not allow:

• Statements of intent to commit violence
• Calls for serious violence
• Content that praises, supports, or represents terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups

Safety

We are committed to making Facebook a safe place. We remove content that could lead to real-world harm, including:

• Self-injury content
• Bullying and harassment
• Human exploitation
• Private information

Objectionable Content

We remove content that could lead to real-world harm, including:

• Hate speech
• Violent and graphic content
• Adult nudity and sexual activity
• Sexual solicitation

Integrity and Authenticity

We work to prevent abuse of our platform and to promote authenticity:

• Spam
• False news
• Inauthentic behavior
• Misrepresentation

Respecting Intellectual Property

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. We ask that you do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Facebook, Messenger, and the other products, features, apps, services, technologies, and software we offer, except where we expressly state that separate terms (and not these) apply.

Your Commitments

In return for our commitment to provide the Service, we require you to make the following commitments to us:

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Facebook
• You must not be prohibited from receiving any aspect of our Service under applicable laws
• You must not be a convicted sex offender

Platform Policies

Trademark

If you believe that someone is using your trademark in a way that infringes your rights, you can report it to us. We will review your report and take appropriate action.

Your Content

You own the content that you post on Facebook. However, by posting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content on Facebook and other Meta Products.
